Earthwing hightailer

The Earthwing Hightailer is great for those who've known nothing but skating all their lives and want to switch over to longboarding, or for those who want a baord that's capable of downhill and freeriding while still being able to mess around with manuals, shuv it's and other tricks of the sort. The Hightailer is actually quite a bit of board which although can feel hindering if you're carrying around will make getting wherever you want like riding a limo, as weight converts to momentum, but be careful http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifif you're going to be hauling this thing around town or walking up hills a lot as it can be a hassle.

The hightailer is 10" wide which is great for most feet but smaller riders may have a harder time manipulating it for tricks and slides. This board is also awesome for those that need a commuting board but have a lot of curbs they have to drop off of, or those high poorly built ride ups that are complicated to just charge over without deweighting yourself. Overall I would recommend the hightailer to anyone looking for a good all around board, that also has some kind of kicktail as I've found having nothing can be a pain at times when a kicktail could make something 20x easier to simply get over or onto.

Earthwing Carbon Superglider

The Superglider is another one of those super versatile boards that can be used for just about anything. This board is made with carbon fiber and a thin maple core which can handle any kind of abuse you can dish out. Also, this board is great for those people getting their first taste of longboarding, since it also has a tail to perform manuals, shuv it's, flip tricks, and slide variations. The superglider is a great addition to anyones quiver especially if you want a board that you can have multiple setups for different things for.

What's so super about the Earthwing superglider is since it was Earthwings first production deck they've done everything within their reach to make this board as versatile and efficient as possible, and it's definitely paid off. This board feels very lively while riding and being a fan of top mounts I feel like I have a lot more control over turns and slides as compared to a drop through board. If you're looking for an amazing board that won't be a heat seeking missle heading straight for your pocket then be sure to pick up the superglider.

Earthwing frequent flyer longboard

The Earthwing frequent flyer is perfect for those who don't want to stray too far from a regular board. The directional shape (especially while riden in the direction you're suppose to) will make your trucks become more consistent with whatever you're doing because they become accustomed to the movements you make. And also the kick tail on this board along with it only being an inch bigger than a conventional skateboard makes it great for popping onto and off of curbs, and having something for your foot to push against while sliding/riding, as well being able to do shuv it, manual, and even flip tricks.

This board is also perfect for people that just want to commute, it's size makes it quite light and it makes those runs to school and work a breeze since you take up much less space on the road/sidewalk then a super longboard. However if you ever plan on taking this down massive hills or something you'll most likely find problems with speed wobble. However if you're looking for a great commuting, carving, and trick board that's easy to stash away or something that ties in more with a conventional skateboard then this board is definitely for you.

Earthwing Carbon Bellyracer

The Earthwing Bellyracer is another of those great downhill, freeride, and cruising boards, that's also capable, of carving, since it has slight flex that'll also dampen any harsh obstacles in your way. The Bellyracer also has an extremely comfortable concave that sure to keep you locked in during standups and slides of any sort. The Bellyracer is another one of those treasures that stay below the 200$ mark meaning you still get a quality board and you can have extra money for upgrades if you're strapped for cash.

The Earthwing Bellyracer on top of all this "underground" goodness has multiple wheelbase options and amazing wheelwells that are 4-5 plys deep that are sure to keep you from wheelbiting. The directional shape may throw people off but unlike most directional boards I've found this quite easy to ride switch and do 180's on so fear not about asymmetry. Although the flex on this board is just the right about for some light bombing, if you're hardcore into downhill I would suggest getting the supermodel instead just because a stiffer board is always better if you're going to be hitting speeds 30 or higher.

Earthwing Supermodel

Okay so thing about the Supermodel is, at least to me, one of the most durable and reliable downhill and freeriding boards you could ever wish for, and what really takes the cake is that it's a lot cheaper than most other longboard but for those of you reading lets try to keep this our secret and not let this little treasure get too mainstream, although it truly deserves it.

The EW Supermodel comes in 3 different types, there's a dropped top mount (personal favorite) as I feel topmounts give more control over everything once you master them but sliding can be a bit iffier if you're not used to them. Then there's a 8 ply drop mount that has a little give to dampen any obstructions on the roads and a 9 ply if you're looking for the ultimate durability and as physics tell more weight = more momentum = more speed. The 9 ply is also better for larger riders because the 8 ply may wear out and become flexier if you're over 200 pounds or so. The Earthwing supermodel is an amazing board and it you're undecided on what board to get don't hesitate with the Supermodel as it's a truly great addition to any freeriders quiver.
